Henry's Hunan is great! The food is amazing (I highly recommend the meat pie -it's a little odd but absolutely delicious) and the staff are incredible. When we had to wait for a takeout order my group was offered free tea and a spot to sit while we waited, which was much appreciated.

BEST HUNAN EVER! Having worked in SF's Financial District I was a regular at Sacramento Street location and am happy I discovered this location! The Diana Meat Pie and Hot & Sour Chicken have been my favorites for years!

Absolutely delicious, neighborhood staple for yummy, Hunan style, Chinese food, My favorite go-to dishes are Diana's meat pie, which is a tasty, unique, pork based, starter. I also love the bean-sprout salad and the Beijing style, pork noodles. Their noodles are freshly made, on the premises. Love the family owned and operated service, which makes this place great. I like the outdoor seating and open, air atmosphere, particularly on a sunny day in the Noe Valley neighborhood.

I first "discovered" Henry Chung's Hunan restaurant on Sansome Street in 1978. Years later, the family has propagated his authentic Hunan recipes into five locations, all run by family members. This location was close to my family and we visited on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered way too much but it is all so good. Neighborhood crowd and warm friendly service. A+++

Henry's has quietly been an SF institution for decades. I've personally been eating at different locations for 30 years The food is fresh, incredible and consistent. I've never had a bad bite at any of their locations, which are all run by members of the same family. They're kind and warm. The restaurants are clean and inviting. Can't recommend them enough.

Wow!! So fast, fresh, and delicious. I ordered 3 dishes and have PLENTY for leftovers! Definitely your money's worth. The chicken was so juicy and plump! My only regret is not getting the sweet and sour chicken.

We had not been back to this restaurant for years due to moving our location and retiring. We felt like having a Diana special so that was the first thing we asked to fire up, before we ordered anything else. It did not disappoint! We always love their chicken salad, spicy rock, curry chicken and Henry special (shrimp, chicken and scallops)! The Marty special isn't too bad either, because who doesn't love their house smoked ham!

The best Chinese food I've had in a really long time! Thrilled that this is in my neighborhood. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken, prawn fried rice, veggie chow mein and spring rolls. DELICIOUS! So flavorful and the perfect amount of spicy! Whether you're dining in or picking up, they are swift and efficient with your order. The kindest service and coziest spot.
